Real people. Real stories. Real change.

About Us

Who we are

We bring together people from all walks of life for open, respectful conversations that challenge prejudice, build understanding, and celebrate the diversity of our community.

Through our events, you can “borrow” a person instead of a book — listening to real-life experiences that broaden your perspective and inspire connection.

The Story Behind Voices of Ingham

Voices of Ingham was born out of a desire to go deeper.

Our founder, Murali, spent years engaging with the community on Nextdoor, trying to lend a
hand wherever it was needed. But he often felt he was spreading himself too thin. He knew
he wanted to find one specific area where he could truly move the needle on community
harmony.

When he read a post by Kara Meyers about the Human Library, everything clicked. It was
the "deep" focus he had been searching for. By bringing people together to share their
personal journeys, he knew we could bridge the divides that often keep us apart.

After a successful launch in July 2025, we continue to host monthly events, dedicated to
the belief that every person has a story worth hearing and every story has the power to
change their heart.
